Case study: Google

Ask

Google had two monumental challenges that were needing some disruptive creativity: first up, a booth for their roadshows that would make "ordinary" feel like a dirty word, and would spin up a story-worthy buzz. Next, a revolutionary training system for their subject matter experts, diving into the deep void of the Google universe with all its products and services. And with global content, they needed this to be simple to access, and clear to understand.

Approach

For the booth, we dreamed up a monster Google Cardboard, a life-sized, multi-functioning beast. Slap on those VR headsets and you're Chillin' With Will Ferrell, or taking a 360° tour through the Google campus. And for those SME's? We cooked up a game-changer of a training system, a mix of read-this, play-this, and live-this storytelling, working with a set designer from Hollywood to recreate the Google London store to simulate an experience.

Results

We turned the Google Booth into the rockstar of pilot conventions in Toronto and Miami, making it the place everyone had to see. And for the SME training? We slashed hours of training down to mere minutes. And we ensured the knowledge base was accessible, available to partners from the bustling streets of New York to the vibrant markets of Bangladesh.
